Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

Welcome to Year 6!

This term's World Around Us topic is called 'It's a disaster'. 

Homework:

⚫️English homework is on Monday and Wednesday (on TEAMS). 

⚫️Maths homework is on Tuesday and Thursday.

⚫️ LbQ twice a week.

⚫️ Reading for 30 minutes each day 📖

We will send home a homework diary and a home learning book with spellings and tables every Monday, to be learned for a test on Friday.

Monthly newsletters will be sent home, which will inform you of important dates and everything your child will be learning.
