Year 7 Step Back in Time

Year 7 pupils from Mr Loane’s class recently enjoyed a memorable and educational visit to the Ulster American Folk Park. The trip supported their current studies on life in famine-era Ireland and helped bring this important period of history to life. As they explored the historical buildings, pupils gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by families during the time of the Great Irish Famine. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the visit and were particularly engaged by the knowledgeable guides, who shared fascinating stories and insights throughout the day.
