Year 7 Make Their Own Home Remedies

14th Feb 2020

Mrs Quinn's Year 7 children, as part of their topic, 'Famine and Emigration,' spent this morning researching home remedies that would have been used in Ireland during famine times. They then took a variety of household and plant based ingredients and made their own remedies for various ailments. So if you have a sore head, stomach or kidney problems, a skin complaint, bleeding, cold and flu or a fever just call into us and we will sort you out. (It will either kill you or cure you!!!!!!)
