Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

Here, you will be able to view the completed ‘Snowpeople’ as well as see the fun the children had making Christmas Wreaths. We went foraging in the Gortin Glens for evergreens, holly and cones, ran into a few of Santa’s friends and then created the most beautiful, professional-looking wreaths. Following this, the girls and boys made Christmas cards using a marbelling technique and sponge painted a cosmic-looking, sparkling background for their display.
