Year 2
We have had a busy half term in Year 2!
The children have been identifying number names, and have started to explore the concept of subtraction. They enjoyed using smarties as their counting tools, and enjoyed taking away by eating them and counting how many were left! As part of our WAU topic, “In the Toybox” the children have been designing and constructing their own toys. They have had lots of opportunities to work with others and be creative in their play, including making snowmen to link with what they got up to during January’s snowy days ☃️ Have a look at some of the other things we have been getting up to!
