Year 2
17th Apr 2026
Year 2 have been learning about dinosaur fossils as part of their WAU topic, ‘Them Bones’ 🦕 They have been working in groups to look closely at the work of paleontologists, taking on this role in the sand tray and making their own fossils using salt dough 🦖 They have also taken this learning outside and made dinosaur skeletons using natural materials during outdoor play.
Have a look at some of the other interesting things we’ve been getting up to; including loose parts play, blooming flowers and our own school of tadpoles, kindly donated by Eilish 🌷🐸
