World Book Day

2nd Mar 2017

World Book Day is a celebration! It is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly, it's a celebration of reading. In fact, it's the biggest celebration of its kind and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.

On 2nd. March 2017, the children of St. Mary's, participated in this world-wide event. To motivate the children to explore the pleasures of books and reading, they were encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character. The children engaged in lots of 'book-related' activities throughout the day and were immersed in a 'book environment.'
