World Book Day in Year 1

What an exciting day we had in school all dressed up as our favourite characters.  The children all looked fantastic and had great fun.  I think the adults in our school had just as much fun too!  Miss McCullagh was a beautiful butterfly from yesterday’s ‘Hungry Caterpillar’ story and the rest of us were characters from Little Red Riding Hood.  We listened to a story, wrote a sentence, role played as our characters and had a little dance in the hall!  Then, we got a little treat of buns out of the basket and even gave the Big Bad Wolf one too because he was sorry!
