Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

World Book Day 2019!

The children in Year 4 had great fun today dressing up as their favourite book character. There were characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Gangster Granny, Matilda, Ratburger, Alice in Wonderland and all the classic fairy tales. We had some brilliant home made costumes too, so well done parents!! 

Super work today boys and girls! A big thank you of course to our dedicated parents who help out so much in fostering a love of books and for supporting regular reading practice at home. Your ongoing support in Year 4 is truly appreciated.
