Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. Our Year 6 class has been exploring the fascinating world of the Vikings through hands-on weaving activities as part of their World Around Us topic. Inspired by traditional Viking textile techniques, the pupils created their own woven designs, gaining a deeper understanding of Viking daily life and craftsmanship. These creative projects not only brought history to life but also helped develop fine motor skills and an appreciation for ancient art forms.
