We are Batty about bats in Nursery!
A big thank you to one of our very own parent for coming into the Nursery last Friday with a special visitor. Emma came into Nursery to teach us all about bats, we played fun games identifying and comparing bats and birds, learned about where bats can be found and what they eat. We did a bat dance and we showed Emma the bats we’ve made as part of our ‘Boo!’ topic. She gave us a little bat house to put up in our school grounds. Then we got to explore special bat detecting cameras, binoculars and equipment. To top the visit of, Emma showed us a real life bat that had been rescued! Such a memorable day for everyone!π¦
