The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🍏🍐🫐🍓🍊

In Year 1/2, we loved reading the book, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle. We made a pictogram to show our favourite fruit in Year 1/2. The Year 1 children have been working hard on their independent writing and sentence construction - they tried their best to write a sentence from the book independently, by listening to Miss McClean read it out slowly (dictation). We also sorted fruit and made clay caterpillars. 🐛 Next, we are going to use the paint sticks to make symmetrical butterflies for our wall display.
