STEM in Year 5 🏎️⛵️

Miss McGinn’s Year 5 class have been participating in STEM lessons for our World Around Us topic of “Let’s get moving”. The children worked in pairs to create a propeller boat which they raced through water, designed a tinfoil boat which could hold the most weight and constructed a car to race over different surface friction the quickest. They had great fun constructing moveable transport and ensuring it was a fair test for all!
