"Little Artists, Big Dreams"
We are running our own school Art Competition for all pupils from Nursery to Year 7. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore their creativity, express themselves, and take pride in sharing their artwork with the school community.
Art plays an important part in children’s development. It helps to build confidence, encourages imagination, supports emotional wellbeing, and gives every child—regardless of academic ability—a chance to shine. We love adorning the walls with beautiful, original art work.
Our competition is designed to be inclusive, enjoyable and a celebration of the fantastic creativity we see across the school every day.
How it will work:
- All children are invited to create an artwork based on a theme provided for their Year Group
- Entries will be created in school
- The closing date is Wednesday 25th March 2026
- Artwork will be displayed around the school for everyone to enjoy
- A small number of medal winners will be chosen from each year group - and trophies awarded for best entries in each Key Stage - but all entries will be celebrated!
We want every child to feel proud of their efforts and to enjoy sharing their ideas. We look forward to seeing the wonderful artwork the children create and hope to have a Gallery morning for parents and carers to see the art!
Teachers will share the themes with each class soon.

· Individual entries
· 2D artwork only
· A3 size in either landscape or portrait
· Any media
· Artwork to be completed in school

🏆 Prizes
Each Year Group will have one 1st, one 2nd and one 3rd place winner who will each receive a medal.
Trophies for
- 'Best in Foundation Stage'
- 'Best in Key Stage 1'
- 'Best in Key Stage 2'
