Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. During the session pupils were introduced to computer programming. Set within the context of space exploration, pupils worked in pairs to programme their own autonomous vehicle to carry out a range of tasks. Pupils learned to write their own programmes and downloaded these to their robot to enable it to carry out its tasks.
