Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

Quantum Theatre Group Visits St Mary's

On May 11th Quantum Theatre Group visited St. Mary's Primary School with their new play "Shape, Space and Desperate Measures." This play was a Stars Wars adventure packed with maths and covered the topics of length, mass, volume, shape angles and coordinates. All children from Year 2 to Year 7 were able to come and watch and interact with the actors.  Children from Year 2-7 in Gibson Primary School joined us as part of our Shared Education Programme.
