Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. Over the past few weeks, Year 5 have been learning about measuring weight and capacity. They worked in groups to estimate and measure the weight of items and the capacity of various containers. They practised their measuring skills by making some delicious fruity drinks! As a challenge, they designed their drinks to have no more than 300ml of any one juice. The combination of juices had to total 500ml and they had to make up a name for their drink. Have a look at what we got up to…
