Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

Play in the Past

Year 2 spent the morning exploring toys and games from the past. In the workshop facilitated by Madeleine from Kathleen’s Attic, they found ways to make the toys move and discussed materials they were made from. The children were fascinated with many of the toys and some even said they prefer toys from the olden days!
