Outdoor maths in Year 5

The children have been solving the area and perimeter of different shapes both inside and outside. They used the trundle wheel to measure the area and perimeter of the netball court and football pitches.

They completed an outdoor problem solving task, where they chose 2 numbers from their knocked down skittles to create a rectangle and solve its area and perimeter.
