Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. Outdoor literacy in Year 5 ☀️

Year 5 have been practicing speech marks and apostrophes outdoors. They took part in a conservation carousel where they wrote their partners responses on a whiteboard with lots of punctuation and in another lesson, they practiced shortening words using apostrophes.
