Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. The children in Year 6 enjoyed exploring the range of materials based on their World Around Us topic this term - My Locality. After examining the books, photographs, maps, gaelic games equipment, music, tourism pamphlets, etc., they all knew the topic was linked to Ireland and Irish culture. They are now ready to investigate this theme further.
