Nursery Winter Wonderland

We have been busy learning about our new topic over the past two weeks.  We set up the polar lands in our role play area, painted snowmen, polar bears and penguins.  We’ve made our own snow and icebergs. Today we rescued the animals from the ice with hammers and spoons.  We decided to add salt and warm water to make it melt faster. During play we’ve made up our own games like the throw and catch snowballs and created a snowball run.  We’ve also learned how to take turns playing a penguin board game.⛄️🐧
