Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. What a perfect day it was to enjoy a yummy bowl of warm vegetable soup! The children used their senses to compare, feel and smell all the different vegetables and herbs. They practised their washing and cutting skills in preparation before cooking. It went down a treat with most of the class I’m happy to say. We finished off today with the story ‘The Enormous Turnip.’
