What a perfect day it was to enjoy a yummy bowl of warm vegetable soup! The children used their senses to compare, feel and smell all the different vegetables and herbs. They practised their washing and cutting skills in preparation before cooking. It went down a treat with most of the class I’m happy to say. We finished off today with the story ‘The Enormous Turnip.’
