Nursery Go To The Vet!

Today the children from Nursery got to visit Campsie Vet. We got to see Rachel, Lauren and Ami who work with the animals. The dog Max had a sore leg and needed to be checked over by Rachel - she checked his heart and ears, weighed him and found a cut on his leg so she bandaged his leg. Rachel showed us what she wears if she has to help an animal have an operation - we got to try on some of the things.

Lauren showed us the little kitten who was very cute - we think he should be called Coco because of his colour. Lauren said he needs a new home. We liked petting him, and he wanted to play peek-a-boo with us. He was fluffy.

Mrs Hardy's friend Ami brought in 2 of her pet lambs, Cookie and Oreo, for the boys and girls to help feed a bottle to. We got to stroke them - their wool was very fluffy but hard.

Thank you to Rachel, Lauren and Ami we had a brilliant morning at the Vets.
