New Goalposts for St. Mary's!

22nd Feb 2022

Our pupils and staff are thrilled to have new goalposts at our all-weather pitch!

These bespoke goalposts have been sponsored - and handmade - by Mr Kieran McGaughey of Anvil Craft.  Kieran and his wife Cathy are parents in our school community of pupils in Years 3 and 4.   Niamh and Orla know that their Dad has hero status - but now this extends to all the football-loving fans at St. Mary's!

We also thank Killyclogher GAA Club representatives, Mr Martin Corcoran and Mr Pat McCrory, for assisting with the installation of the posts and for the concrete base.

We thank Kieran for this amazing gesture which children at our school will benefit from for years to come!

Thank you, too, Kieran, for all the school chairs you have repaired!
