Looking after birds in Winter- Nursery

As part of our ‘Winter Wonderland’ topic, the children have been learning about what birds may visit the Nursery garden in search of food. They have been leaving out left -over snack food daily and last week developed their hand-eye co-ordination and fine manipulative skills by threading cereals to hang on the fence. They made their own binoculars for the Bird Watch survey.
