Let’s Get Growing Trip Year 1 and 2

We had a great trip down to see Luke’s allotment in Mullaghmore.  Celine and Dermot were so friendly and showed us all the fruit and vegetables people were growing, some inside the polytunnels and some outside.   We got to see, smell and touch lots of plants.  We made bird feeders and hung them for the birds.  We saw frog spawn and other minibeasts.  Grace had a big surprise when she met her granda Joe!  A big thank you to the community gardeners for making us feel so welcome!  We had a little detour to the new park on the way back to school- great to be outside enjoying the spring air, now fingers crossed our plants will grow too! 🤞🌻
