Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

Having fun with STEM activities in Year 5 ⛵️

As part of our WAU topic “water”, Year 5 have been busy making different types of boats. Firstly they made a propeller boat and raced them to see who had the quickest!

Then they got busy in pairs designing a tinfoil boat and tested them out to see who created the boat which could hold the heaviest weight before sinking. Well done to Grace and Aine for designing the strongest boat! 😀
