Eco Visit To Gibson Primary School

27th Oct 2022

Today Mrs Quinn's Year 6 class visited Gibson Primary School and listened to representatives from The Eco Council talk about planting fruits and the importance of fruit in our diet.  They let the children make their own apple juice using an apple press and taste a variety of fruits that are easy to grow at home. We also got to chat to pupils from Gibson and make new friends. They presented us with a blackberry plant to take back to school - so hopefully next year we will be making our own blackberry jam!!!!!
