Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

Disability NI Come To Visit

Today Caitlin and Ryan from Disability NI came to visit us at assembly to explain the role of sports and how important it is for people who have a disability.  They talked about the different sports and they told us about sports people from Northern Ireland that have participated in the Para Olympics.  Afterwards they allowed us to try out some of the following sports: boccia, wheelchair basketball, kurling, goal ball and wheelchair racing. We thorougly enjoyed ourselves but certainly didn't think it was as easy as it looked!
