Year 1- Christmas Sensory Play, arts and crafts and more…

10th Dec 2021

This has been indeed a busy week in Year 1 as we countdown to Christmas!  We sang along with Tom Sweeney on Monday.  We are practising our big performance everyday and look forward to the recording on TUESDAY!! This week, we made a Christmas sensory tuff tray.  Then we made our own cinnamon rice and sparkly salt trays to practise letter, word and number formations.  We made our very own Santa advent calendars and wrote the numbers we could form to 5 and began our fine manipulative Christmas tree decorations.  Miss McKenna had a present themed problem solving task for us to figure out on Wednesday.   Christmas learning is fun!🎄🤶
