Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. The children have a deeper appreciation of how lucky they are to be living in today’s world instead of during the Victorian era. They’ve been studying what life was like for Victorian children, paying particular attention to children from a poor background, who had to earn a living for their family doing all sorts of jobs.

They also researched places around the world named after Queen Victoria.
