Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. Busy Beavers in Year 6

The year 6 pupils have been very busy since their return to school. They’ve started a new topic, Disasters, in World Around Us and are making use of Teams and the internet to aid their learning. Today they were examining forms of figurative language - similes, metaphors and personification. They enjoyed illustrating the various examples they found in their reading material.
