Blast off into STEM at CBS 🚀

All the Year 6 boys had an amazing day at Christian Brothers Grammar School, taking part in an exciting, hands-on STEM experience!

The day kicked off in Technology, where the boys designed and built their very own nose cone rockets before heading out to the pitch to launch them.🚀 A huge highlight with lots of excitement all round and we even left with two CBS STEM stars!

Next stop was Maths, where they took part in a range of fun and engaging games that challenged their thinking and problem solving skills.

To finish the day, they moved into Science. Here, they explored Biology by using microscopes to get a closer look at salt 🔬and in Chemistry, they carried out the very fun “squeaky pop” experiment! 

It was a fantastic day from start to finish and the boys thoroughly enjoyed every moment. A big thank you to everyone at CBS for providing such a brilliant and memorable experience!
