Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. As Year 7 are reading Under The Hawthorn Tree in class at the minute we decided to try to make Irish cottages. We looked at the design of a cottage and worked out what the front, back and side walls should look like. Once we had them cut out of polystyrene we used the glue gun to put them together. We added a roof and then a base. We are now ready to decorate. We will post our finished cottages once completed.
