Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

The Year 7s would like to say an enormous thank you to Frank Diamond from ALPS (All Lives Are Precious) who visited us on Friday. Frank, in his unique and affable manner, helped to develop the pupils’ awareness of the importance of maintaining positive emotional well-being and strong mental health throughout their lives. Through story telling, art and song the children have a deeper awareness of who they can turn to when they may need help to overcome challenges in daily life. If you ever get the opportunity to listen to this man don’t miss it, as he’ll certainly inspire you to ‘see’ and ‘be’ the best ‘you’, that you are. Hakuna Matata. Thanks, Frank.
