šŸŽµ School Choir Collaboration with the Dublin Gospel Choir! šŸŽµ

10th Apr 2025

Our school has a proven commitment to promoting Music, with thanks to our resident Music expert, Mrs Kelly.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our school has been asked to collaborate with the Dublin Gospel Choir at the forthcoming Bluegrass Festival in the Ulster American Folk Park.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our talented St. Mary's Choir!  The Dublin Gospel Choir is probably the only act in the world to collaborate with artists as diverse as Duran Duran, Aslan, Riverdance, Rod Stewart, Outkast, Take That, The Dubliners and Kodaline, to name a few.  And now, they can add the 'St. Mary's Choir' to the list!

Over coming weeks, Mrs Kelly will prepare the children.  It is also planned that the Gospel Choir will rehearse with our pupils in advance.  The children will then perform in Omagh along with the Gospel Choir on the morning of the 25th May, followed by a performance on the šŸŽµ Main Stage šŸŽµ as part of the Bluegrass Festival!

What an amazing opportunity!
